Measurements: length (without fringes) 238 cm, width 4.5 cm, fringe length 12 cm.
Materials: the warp – flax, merino wool, the weft – wool.
Technique: pick-up weaving, i.e., when patterns are picked up and dropped manually.
Pattern: red geometric pattern in the white background, with red, green, orange, blue stripes at the edges, and multi-coloured fringes woven and threaded in at the ends.
The reconstruction performed on the basis of the surviving late 19th c. sash fragment from Dzūkija Region, taken from the collection album of the Lithuanian Scientific Society intended for the 1900 Paris Exposition.
