ISBN 978-609-8039-93-1This book tells the story of Kazimieras Steponas Šaulys (1872–1964), a signatory of the Act of Independence of February 16th and a member of the Council of Lithuania and the Constituent Seimas. He was a professor at the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy of Vytautas Magnus University (1922–1944) and an active public figure, belonging to many societies. In the summer of 1944, as the second Soviet occupation approached, he left for the West.
