This data privacy policy of the e-shop of the National Museum of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as “the Privacy Policy”) applies to all and any personal data that you provide to us or that we collect and process when you visit the e-shop parduotuve.lnm.lt of the budgetary institution National Museum of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”) and purchase various publications and souvenirs of the Museum.

Personal data is any information which is directly or indirectly related to you, i.e., a visitor or a buyer of the e-shop of the Museum.

Visitor and buyer of the e-shop of the museum (hereinafter referred to as “the Buyer”) is a natural person who visits the e-shop of the Museum in order to purchase and/or who has purchased the publications, souvenirs, and other goods (hereinafter referred to as “the Goods”) of the Museum, and whose personal data is received and used by us.

The Museum collects, processes, and stores all personal data of the Buyer in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal data as well as other laws of the Republic of Lithuania governing legal protection of personal data as well as the Museum activities and provided services. The Museum does not transfer any personal data to any third parties unless required to do so by the legislation or in cases when this is necessary to provide the services of the Museum, or when the Buyer expresses their explicit consent that their personal data be transferred.

The Museum respects your privacy and protects the personal data that you provide to us, which is collected by the Museum in the manner set out herein. The present Privacy Policy offers the explanation as to why we collect your personal data and how we use it.

How is your personal data collected in trade activities?

The Museum Goods can be purchased in the Museum divisions, ticket offices, and on the Museum e-shop parduotuve.lnm.lt.
When purchasing the Goods on the Museum e-shop parduotuve.lnm.lt, the Museum collects the following personal data: your name, last name, email address, telephone number, country, and address. The data you submit is only used to execute your order and receive a respective payment via Paysera or bank payment systems. Moreover, such data will not be used for any other purpose, will not be transferred or sold to any third parties unrelated to the provision of our direct services without your consent.
The Museum does not store the login data to a payment system of the Buyer. You enter your login data to the payment system Paysera on the website of Paysera; therefore, the Museum does not have access to such information. By purchasing the Goods, the Buyer ensures that the provided data is correct, accurate, and complete. In case of changing or supplementing the data about themselves, the Buyer must provide only correct data. Any losses incurred due to the provision of incorrect data are borne by the Buyer.

The Museum stores your personal data for 1 (one) year as of the execution of your last purchase.

Rights of Buyers (data subjects)
You have the right to access your personal data by submitting a written request to the Museum (by e-mail or to the contact details of the Museum indicated below) and presenting your identity document (identity card or passport). Based on such a written request, the Museum must provide you with the information as to which sources are used and which personal data is collected, the purpose for which such data is processed, and to which data recipients such data is provided. The Museum undertakes to respond to such requests in accordance with the procedure and the terms established by the legislation, no later than within 30 days as of the receipt date of your request. In your request, you must indicate your email address or other address to which the requested data will be provided. The information regarding the sources and the type of personal data collected as well as the purpose for which it is processed and to which recipients such data is provided encompasses the period of one year.
By submitting a written request (by email or to the contact details of the Museum indicated below) you also have the right to demand the rectification of incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate personal data; the right to demand the suspension of further processing of personal data – with the exception of data storage – when such data is processed in violation of the laws and the terms and conditions of the present Privacy Policy. Upon your written request, all personal information submitted to the Museum can be removed.

Validity and amendments
This Privacy Policy comes into force on 3 August 2023. It can be amended taking into consideration any changes in the legislation and the activities of the Museum. In case we make any changes hereto, the updated Privacy Policy will be published on the website www.lnm.lt. All and any amendments of or supplements to the Privacy Policy come into force as of the moment they are published on the website.
