Based on the enrollment album of Tartu (Dorpat, Jurjevo) University students and archival materials, as well as literature, the number of students from Lithuania who studied at Tartu University has been determined. The annual dynamics of enrolled students, their social and geographical origins, ethnic composition, distribution by specialties, and the workplace of some graduates are presented. The Lithuanian Dorpat Student Society is introduced. It strengthened the identity of the oppressed Lithuanian nation and mobilized for common cultural and political emancipation efforts.
