The historic events of 1990-1991, which shocked the entire population of Lithuania, left a mark in the hearts of young Lithuanians. Children, who were also sensitive to the situation and historical events, expressed their naive and pure feelings through drawings and writings. The Iconography Department of the National Museum of Lithuania holds 5772 children's drawings commemorating the events of January 1991. All the works were created during various competitions and educational activities that took place in 1991.
The book is illustrated with historical photographs capturing the events of the time, barricades with posters and drawings.
